15:00 – 15:20	BACKFIRE Project Update	Brook Schofield	Brook will give an update on the “BACKFIRE” project and a call for mentors for developing federations in the APAN region.

15:50 – 16:10	Attribute Aggregation	Thijs Kinkhorst	Service Providers often need information about a user that the Identity Providers do not supply, like virtual organisation memberships. Thijs will discuss a way to implement Attribute Aggregation to enrich the user’s identity with this information, in a central component that makes it available to service providers via standard attributes.
16:10 – 16:30	WAYF Hybrid Go Architecture	Mads Freek Petersen	WAYF’s new platform implements a hybrid between the current ‘hub&spoke’ federation architecture (where services and institutions only ‘see’ each other through WAYF’s hub) and the peer2peer, or ‘mesh’, architecture (where services and institutions ‘see’ each other directly). This will make it far easier for services connected to WAYF to receive logins from foreign institutions in eduGAIN – while retaining the many advantages to having a central hub in the federation, e.g. the technically simple connection, and the ability to translate between different federation protocols.
16:30 – 17:00	Shibboleth Consortium Update	Manne Miettinen and Ian Young	Manne is a member of the Shibboleth Consortium Board and will give an update on developments from the project and consortium perspective. Ian will give an update on the technical developments within the Shibboleth project.
