Ian will present the REFEDS funded work to define a simple protocol for retrieving metadata about named entities, supporting approaches for distributed metadata registry and aggregation.
10:15-10:45 FedLab and REFEDS, Roland Hedberg
FedLab is a GEANT initiative providing tools for testing and monitoring components used in Identity Federations. Roland will discuss the potential role for REFEDS in this work.

15:00 – 15:20 K12, Where are we? Ken Klingenstein.This session will look at the progress in providing Identity Federations to primary and secondary education organisations.
15:20 – 15:40 AA Collaboration or How to Get Attributes from Multiple Sources, Kristof Bajnok.
Kristof will explore the GEANT work to all attributes to be aggregated from multiple sources in the Identity Federation space.

16:00 – 16:30 UMA, Maciej Machulak.
Maciej will describe the work of UMA, a Kantara Initiative giving individuals the tools to control authorisation decisions.
16:30 – 17:20 Everything as a Service, Group Discussion.
There is an increasing trend to provide Identity Federation infrastructure as a service (IdP as a Service, Federation as a Service, Virtual Organisations as a Service). In this session we will invite discussion on existing tools in this space, progress, future directions and the REFEDS role.
